AVOCADO GARDEN

I have worked on many commercial projects in my design career from office HQ's to hotels, spas, and shopping centres.  Two years ago I was asked if I would re-design an old Giraffe restaurant in Blackheath near where I live.

 

We had to strip out the original space and start again. 

 

The new owner was creating a healthy and organic casual dining experience, so we looked at adding textures with re-used timber flooring and railway sleepers, exposed brick walls, concrete for the bar, natural forms where we could, and a neutral and natural colour palette. 

 

The client loves the result we have created of a fresh, contemporary, inviting space and community for locals to gather from the area.
